Abstract

Digital culture is now entering a lifestyle of the community from children to parents. Its development is so rapid, it must be followed by various breakthroughs including art education which also enlivens the digital world as a concrete interpretation of the development of art, democracy and digitalization of social media.

               One of them is the step of learning Prawira Watang Dance through social media youtube and instagram. Turning the educational model of the classroom and books into digital based, the step is to offer a new model of art education to answer the challenges of Indonesia who experience a demographic bonus.

               The form of art education for Prawira Watang Dance Learning based on social media can be done by making tutorials on the stages of dance learning ranging from warming up, explaining the material, to a series of dance patterns and moves, which are carried out by visuals and synthesizers. The achievement of this step is to create an education climate oriented towards digital media which is now accessed by the melenial generation, as well as efforts to conserve art through digital media, the expansion of education, in order to educate the life of the nation.
